ORIGINALS
One of a kind. Hand-painted originals in foraged artisanal inks, watercolor, and mixed media, each piece made once and never again.
"Each painting is an intuitive response to whatever I'm carrying that day: part what I see, part what I dream, part what I need to let go of."
Kelly Funabashi is a painter and illustrator based in Astoria, Queens — creating fantastical abstract landscapes, botanical field studies, figure drawings, and illustration from a prolific daily practice and an eye that doesn't stop looking.
